CRAZYLEGS T-SHIRTS FOR HAITI
The recent earthquakes in Haiti brought about a global outpouring in relief efforts and assistance. We are pleased to announce that the Crazylegs Classic Executive Committee, in partnership with UW Athletics, donated approximately 1500 outdated Crazylegs T-shirts to Haiti during this time of need. The spirit of giving back and trying to make a difference is as important today as it was 29 years ago when the inaugural Crazylegs Classic had its first run in downtown Madison, Wisconsin. Now, reaching out globally has more than one meaning for “Crazylegs World”.
"CRAZYLEGS WORLD" - EXPANDING BEYOND MADISON
Crazylegs is going global.
The Crazylegs Classic, the increasingly popular annual run/walk that takes place in Madison each spring and benefits UW Athletics, has expanded this year adding an event called “Crazylegs World.”
The idea is this: in addition to the nearly 20,000 people who are currently taking part in the race in Madison, UW Athletics, the National W Club and the Wisconsin Alumni Association will join forces to help coordinate satellite events, on the same day, anywhere there is interest – from Boston to Bismarck, Melbourne to Madrid, Tampa to Tokyo, and anyplace in between.
